King Ladislao Gardens

Collective planting

Verde Bufera (Green Storm) is a participatory process of urban reactivation carried out by ReGeneration, in collaboration with Dedalus and ZAP! It aims to foster meeting and cultural cross-fertilization between teenagers and young people of different cultures and backgrounds through the rediscovery of places to spend well their free time.

The urban place where this process of encounter and regeneration takes place is the park of King Ladislao, a historical garden of 4,500 square meters hidden in the heart of downtown Naples. Although the park is one of the very few green areas in this part of the city, it is underused and unknown to most of the inhabitants of the neighborhood.

Among the various actions devised by the girls and boys of Regeneration to reactivate the garden is the design and construction of a Mediterranean plant bed, located in a somewhat abandoned corner of King Ladislao’s gardens.

The planting was carried out during the presentation event of Regeneration activities to the inhabitants of the area, through a collective planting carried out together with the families of the neighborhood.
