Community garden

L’Asilo-exasilofilangieri.it is a self-managed artistic and cultural production center whose research and activities are organized by several working groups.

The Orto Urbano working group focuses its research on the relationship between nature and urban spaces and has its experimental laboratory in the courtyard garden.

From a space abandoned to itself, the courtyard has over the years been transformed into a vegetable garden for the benefit of the community.

The design and construction of this green corner was carried out together with the inhabitants of the neighborhood through open workshops and maintenance is carried out by the community.

Popular festivals, horticulture courses, concerts, workshops for children have found a small green home in the historic center of Naples, where there is practically no green.
