Green façade

Nola

The aim of this green façade was to introduce a plant aesthetic in a highly built urban context, trying to create a scenic backdrop that would help to give identity to the small square in front of the building.

The irrigation and fertilization system is integrated into the architecture. As for the botanical species, we tried to make the most of the little space available, choosing shrubs with few cultivation needs, resistant but with a strong visual impact.

Bamboo and nandines to screen the sun, perennials with sword-shaped leaves such as phormium and agapanthus, which lean out the balconies increasing the scenic effect, and hanging species, such as vinca and ivy, to cover the flower boxes.

With the passage of time and with the right care, the balconies of this new residential building, built by Iesu S.p.a. , will be shielded by a bright green filter, with red and bronze hues, occasionally shaken by the wind.
